a day to remember.

And today is yet another day,
For like any days, today is like every day,
And in these days, nothing seems at bay,
For in these days, it is yet another day.

Tomorrow is a new day,
A day of hope and glimmer,
And one that I look forward,
For a day never like yesterday.

Yesterday was a day,
Like the previous, predictive towards tomorrow,
It was a day I missed,
A day I strived.

Tomorrow yet I believe,
That like many days, this should be different,
In this day, I shall smile,
Smiling for a journey proudly explored.

Yesterday though I know,
It was bitter but bitter sweet,
Like chocolates, every pieces are different,
And so was yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

A day of glistering shine,
A day of overwhelming applause,
A standing ovation,
A day, I await, with hope,
With a determination,
To end this journey.

trust

what is it with trust? a bond that now seems so vulnerable and fragile like a wine glass. shouldn't it be a link that keeps us together for as long as we call it ours? but now, it seems that the word is just a five letter word.  where has its value and its ulterior motives of being true and honest, and mostly, believing gone to, i know not. being fragile is fine, but knowing that once broken, it hurts along the way, that's even sad. how am i then to place this link or bond with someone whom simply do not get what is it with trust. or perhaps i might have been  too demanding and possessive? i know, i am not one to judge my actions in my thoughts as it always ends in me supporting myself but lets seat back and wonder, a friend whom you shared laughs and jokes and even times that you feel so agitated you needed someone to share it. and just then, like a river that flows into the seas, it all flows away not meeting an end, like birds swooping off to the skies aiming wondrously. and the trust you placed, or supposed, assumed, you had, just fades away. and now, i see you like a friend, only to know that the faded never blooms, at least until a wilted flower grows back to life.

to know a person, you need to trust him. to know his personality, you need his trust. and when both connections are made, and you realized that this could be a friend after all, just then, it crashes down. i thank Him, for showing me sooner for i know not what else i would have given if i have not seen this faded pages. i don't find myself guilty, for i know, perhaps it was the trust that somehow elevated what seemed to be building come to halt. again, i do not own this feelings, but what i do is to accept them the way these things are. after all, it would have been alien, if all things come in the same. trust is indeed a word after all. and when you needed to rely to it the most, it turns you down. but of all this, i now know that all things aren't constant, varying in fact. for today, you get a flower, a day or two later, it wilts. and like that,  the trust you have, had, will have, might just fade away.

what is it with trust?

a diary

In just moments, a new year begins and new undertakings are steered to course. the year was tough, as like all years would, but without sweat, fruits will not bear. and yes, the year was pretty much how everyone's would seem to, only a twist from one to another.

i sometimes sit down, and i wonder how things and time pass through when sometimes i just do not realize how it goes on. and yet, it goes on. simply said, another year is through and with huff and a puff, i sit here drawing out those memories. and yes, memories they are, lessons they teach.

making new friends are great. keeping them, that's something tricky. the countless times you share and spread moments you find so much greater than those who don't, brings you what you wished the least for to happen right at your back. confused, adapting, accepting, here i now live, another year.

love is what keeps people going. family, friends, and all alike. but love at times stop you from going. and deep down a road you walk, knowing the end as to what you have imagined, and yet, stopping and then looking back at your path, realizing, that, it may not be a good walk after all, you retreat. all for love, one sacrifices, one gains. all for love, one gives, one takes. demanding, generous, sweet and simple, love's a box of chocolates.

rivalries are tokens you sometimes collect for values. like in a fair, a token for a game, a rivalry is just a game. they start they end, and then the token is kept away, not the player, not the machine, but the game itself. one day, it frustrates you, and another it overwhelms you. and today, it makes you jump high, tomorrow it might keep you at your knees begging for another chance. natural, normal, growing, rivalries compliments us.

and in deep thoughts i dive, questioning and answering questions that are quite illogical, perhaps manageable. and in it, i see the different colours of life that comes together, binding all of us in a cycle that never stops. and these moments may come in a pinch or a bundle, or a lottery. and yes, these moments are the every ticks of the clock that made us who we are now.

happy new year!

Life's pathetic when you lose hope.

Life's pathetic when you lose hope.

I am a person,
Not the kind you think of,
I am indeed a person,
More than you think of.

If crying soothes you,
It weakens me,
And if laughing strengthens you,
It annoys me.

Respect is a word,
Knowing it is a deed,
Ignoring it is a sin,
Believing it, however, is faith.

Silence is a weapon,
For those who keep calm,
My voice is an asset,
Am proud of it, least embarrassed.

Losing hope is pathetic,
When life’s nothing but grays,
Fighting for a life is relinquishing,
When life’s all against you.

This, a note of a jumbled person,
Deep within he resides,
In a tomb of a chamber,
In darkness,
And then a light strays in,
Lifting me up,
To the rainbows,

The sights of a man.

The sights of a man.

With a stride pacing with force,
Yet slender and calm at the moment,
Hushes in and grabs a sit,
A nearby sit, I am not used to.

And with this sway of grace,
Deep inside little pickle berries,
Sour but sweet, at different parts,
Silent by time, noisy when needed.

What dwells in the life chamber,
None knows, sometimes a flicker,
And a spark glitters calling up a smile,
But then, silence is a name, not knowing anything.

Far across the doves fly,
In search of a place to nest and to settle,
It could be like this analogy,
Only it sounds different, a quiet nest.

Where rainbows colour unicorns,
And stars decorate the modern apes,
Comes a jewel so bright, sparkling like a firework,
Only to keep its value unknown, un-owned.

Like a nest, a bird that lays, and soon leaves with her young,
This place is not a permanent residence,
But what tickles me is a nest that is empty,
A bird, no eggs, no young, no life.

And somehow, with this pace of pride,
The gooseberries, the silence, the little smile,
The firework and the empty nest,
Comes a bird equally made from the heavens above.
